Subject: IDLE, in gear, stall
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I have my bus running again after the engine fire. Lots of new parts and pieces. starts good idle is approximately 800-850 rpm. When I put it in drive, it stalls. Is there some mechanism to kick up the idle when selecting a gear? Or, is my idle to low? I have a Bently manual and have not done the checks there yet. I had reinstalled the throttle return spring on the wrong side of the throttle valve and then monkeyed with the throttle linkage adjustment at the gas pedal and the linkage for adjusting the kick down actuator. I am hoping to go for the smog, headlight and brake check required to get my girl back on the road this weekend. YIPEE!
