I guess I'm not supposed to repeat his exact pmail that
he sent me. But with my own words, what he basically says
is to use a quality silicone sealant.
He basically concurred with my local vw guru mechanic.
I guess they had a hard time getting one of the piston pins out.
But something interesting I discovered.
That we here in Olympia have a professional bolt remover specialist.
All he does is remove bolts and install new ones.
So now I have a beautiful new set of cylinder head studs in my case.
Two of the old ones apparently were marginal.
