Hi, My 99 102hp TDI California coach getīs too easily to 140 km/h. just by pushing it to 3000 rpm. and you can rev it up to 4500 rpm... Iīm not brave enough to do so, you know so many kilos doing so many meters per second... By the way it makes 7,5lt./100km of diesel, wich is cheaper than gas (at least here in spain) Bye ---------------------- Javier Burgoa 1999 california coach Bilbao, Spain >From: Robert Lilley <Wolfvan88@AOL.COM> >Reply-To: Wolfvan88@AOL.COM >To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM >Subject: Re: Eurovan Anectdote (Friday) >Date: Fri, 7 Apr 2000 20:05:55 EDT > ><<<90mph but didn't realize it>>> > >My 88 Vanagon Wolfsburg with H&R spring modified suspension and customized >2.1L Wasserboxer engine can get to 80 mph - 85 mph on the interstate easy, >if I do not watch the speed and start thinking about something, with light >pedal pressure... >The engine and exhaust are "Super" quiet... > > >Robert >OBTW -This is no joke...anybody want a ride... ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com |
