Ok, here is a bit more information: The van runs like crap. I pulled a plug and it is COATED in black carbon (my mixture must be way too rich). I got a wire brush and cleaned all the plugs and started up again. Ran ok, then after about two trips around the block, started running like crap again. I barely got back to the garage. Pulled a plug again and, yep, coated with black carbon. Here is a weird thing. When I got my van back from the shop, the plug into the mass airflow sensor (attached to the air filter) was pulled out a little bit. Plugging it back in had no effect but I am wondering if running it while it was unplugged a bit may have fried the sensor (or EMU). Any suggestions before I take it in to the shop (if I can get it there)? Scott Semyan |
