Hi Peter,
Welcome back to the list. I had to write pmail because reading that
you moved back to County Cork AND work for Apple. What a combo! (or I
have it totally wrong and you work for VW.....) I've had Apples (since
1984?) and started as a tech for Creative Computers. Then ended up
being the Manager of Operations before I moved back to the farm 3 years
ago. I also trial sheepdogs. I'm so envious, I would love to be in
Ireland right now. My Grandfather Michael J. Sullivan was from County
Cork.
I signed up to the list in January. Katy (aka- Kathleen Elizabeth
Margaret Mary O'Sullivan) Abbas from NE Iowa. We (my husband and 2
children) even have a list member friend, about an hour or so away from
here, Chuck Hill. This list has been a great experience, knowledge and
friendship rolled into one!
Glad to hear of your adventures moving back to Ireland. I hope to
visit again someday in the future and possibly pick up a couple of good
Border Collies while I'm there. (I tell my husband I can't help it, its
in my blood just like vanagons and Mercedes are in his) My husband and
I have even discussed moving there, but wouldn't know the first thing
about it.
Carry on and best of luck in getting settled!
