Folks,
The Wet Westies are at it again! The first campout of the year is
being held on the Puyallup Fairgrounds in Puyallup, WA the night
before the VW spring show and meet. I don't think this info has been
posted to the vanagon list before, so here it is. Dan is organizing
the camp out, contact info for him is below.
People will be coming to this from Canada, Wa, ID, and OR. If you're
further away, hell, you're welcome too!
This is a great chance to meet with lots of other list folks, and do
that first "shake-down" camp of the year. I believe other folks have
posted this invite also to the vintagebus and Type2 lists. There are
about 15 folks coming from the wetwesties list alone!
All vanagon list folks are invited--you don't even have to have a
westy! But, of course, it always helps... ;-)

Here is some general information for the overnighter in
Puyallup, Washington on April 29th for the VW Meet on the
30th. This is a Wet West gathering... all are welcome!

Listed date is April 30.Camping off of 5th street.
1st come 1st serve,Fee is $10.00 if you pay ahead.
$15.00 if they have to come out an get it.
You can send in your payment attention "Vickie-RV" at the
above listed address or you can call her and give her a
card
number and she will mail your camp permit to you.
All sites have elec., she says they have never run out of
sites on this type of event... She advised that you may
want to bring water in the event the water is not on...
These are full hook ups with sewer also.
There is no restroom facilities out in the camping area as
they are set up for the big "Road Warrior rigs.

will occur on the Saturday ( 29th ) overnighter.
There will be families at this overnighter (kids).
