Hi Volks

With the help of a list member, Jeff Palmer, I located a parts supplier called "California Imports" that carries a decent selection of repair panels for the Vanagon. The panel I need goes from the front fender skirt to the rear quarter panel and includes the rocker panel with about 8" of the side panel. This will address the seam rust problem I have along the top seam of the rocker panel. The cost for the panel is $39.99 which sounds like a real deal to me. The panels were described as being original quality, shape and metal gauge. The internet address is: www.vwcalimports.com.

The sales person I spoke to at CI was very helpful. During the call he actually went and got a panel to verify that it was was the rocker panel and lower section of the side panel. The online catalog listed it as the side panel and the diagram did not depict it including the rocker panel.
