Subject: Shift linkage

Time to pay a little attention to my tranny and linkage. The book of words says there are two different dimensions for the shift linkage adjustment tool. 19 mm and 22 mm. Where do I find the "Chassis number" , as this is what is used to determine which dimension to use for the linkage set up. Also any suggestions about what density of transmission lubricant to use would be appreciated. Thanks Keith 81 Vanagon
