Hi all,

     Just a short note to say hello - I'm back on the list again.
Since I dropped off in January, we have moved back home from Sacramento,
CA to Cork, Ireland. I'm now driving around in a cheezy '89 Ford Orion.

     Now ... the good news! Our '88 Wolfsburg was shipped from Sacto
to Galveston, TX where it was put on a ship to Southampton in the
UK. The van is scheduled to arrive late this weekend. I'm taking a day
or two off next weekend to travel over to England to bring 'Muriel'
over to Ireland. Anyone who wants info on transportation of vehicles
US->Europe, let me know!

     So I guess we'll probably be the only people in Ireland to
be driving around a LHD US-spec Vanagon *ahem* Caravelle. The insurance
company had no idea as to how to deal with it. 8-)

     BTW, Tom Neal was kind enough to swing by the house before we left
to drop off a spare used MXL he had, as well as a sun visor (the one
with the light). I'd been meaning to sort out the flat spare I'd been
carrying around for ages. One of those things that never gets done.
Anyways ... a few weeks later as we are making our final trip to
San Francisco airport & running late, one of our new MXTs blew out
just before the Bay Bridge. Tom's spare tire saved the day!
