A slight change in plans. Since Peter's van is in Utah and may not make it back in time to permit me to do what I had hoped this weekend, I am going to mount the betts front and rear springs on my van over the weekend in time for my trip to my favorite death valley hideout next week. This will give me about 100 miles of rough dirt road and other conditions to test them. I will be back the 25th, in time to place an order by May 1.

I am doing this for two reasons. First, i just did not have the time to do much testing at Hollister because i had my kids with me. Peter and Mark did most of that work. Second, my approach is slightly different than Peter and Mark's. I don't carry as much weight as Mark and I prefer optimum handling over increased ride height. In the end, I may stay with Marks' specs, or we may have two syncro springs to choose from, depending on what Mark does down the road after he does more testing on his Baja trip. Now I have to get back to my real job! steve
