Subject: Looking for a auto door lock part
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Folks-

I had a minor melt down in my rear hatch auto door lock today - everything is okay except that the worm on the motor shaft broke (something jammed, overheated, whatever).

I wondered if there's any chance one of you have one of these mechanisms with another problem (burned out motor, destroyed contact strip, whatever) that I could buy.

BTW, this unit seems to be no longer available at the dealer - even if I were, I shudder at what it might cost.

Or another idea - has anyone found a suitable replacement for this worm?

TIA

-bb
