During my January refubish of the cooling system, this was one of the items that I sealed an oil leak from. Inside the tower on the 1.9 there is a plastic baffle oriented at about a 45º angle. Other than that, there isn't anything else in there, just a coating of oil. Pretty simple really. I saw nothing that would suggest that it would get clogged, but take it off and see. Just get a new o-ring to replace the old one with and use sealant as well for a leak free seal. Hope this helps, Dave C.
