It takes all the will power I have not to eat McDonald's fries all day. I think if I drove a biodiesel bus it would be too much to bear. At 600 pounds I'd be saying, "No. It's just that I'm making some fries to get a base for my biodiesel. Anybody for a doughnut?"

But anyway FWIW a few months back on Car Talk there was a group who used biodeisel in a Vanagon and it seemed to keep breaking down the inside of the fuel line and clogging the flow to a point where the bus wouldn't run. Several repairs followed but the problem recurred. The Tappet Bros. suggested while the biodeisel worked fine in the group's Diesel Rabbit and Diesel Tractor, it may not be compatatable with the Vanagon. Fix the fule lines one more time and then run regular deisel was the advice.
