Unless I am mistaken, the swivel bases need to be *cut* from the donor car and *welded* in place in the new car. (unless you already have swivel bases on your seats)

Will the seats from an 89 westie mount directly in my 85 vanagon. I've peered in the windows of parked westies and it looks like they should fit.

Does $500 CDN seem like a reasonable price for a pair of swivels in good shape with arm rests?
