I don't think I have one. It's one of the things that was suggested to check in my current problem, and I couldn't find anything like it on mine (85 GL). Again, I am new to DIY Vanagon repairs so it could be that I am not knowledgeable enough to recognize it, but there is nothing whatsoever electrical on my throttle valve.
