For RF grounding you *really* want to use braid (or strap if vibration
isn't a problem).  Radio frequencies travel along the surface of a
conductor and skip the inside, so you want as much surface as
possible.  For real fanatics there's some stuff called Litz wire where
every strand is individually insulated and then the whole braided together
-- a real bear to solder since you have to clean every strand first.  I
doubt if it comes in large gauges anyway.
