Subject: Vanagon Carat Auction at Salvation Army in Virginia Beach
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Forgot to tell the list, there is Vanagon up for auction tomorrow at Salvation Army, starting bid $1200. Appears to have VW alloys, Carat interior, AC, Auto. Back badge says Vanagon GL but it appears to be a Carat with the rear facing seats and folding table. There is a catch, nice repaint job red, but it appear to have been a repaired vehicle as the area behind the drivers side sliding window is missing the fiberglass trim and the bottom jacking point appears to have been bent in and I saw a little spot of what look like weld rather than rust on the seam near the windows. Probably a T bone accident ( broadside to some ). Coolant appears to have some oil in it. You know as much as I do know. Interior is extremely clean and I believe there was a Bentley manual inside. These auctions are strange, I nearly got a 1982 Vanagon Camper there not running but the price hit $1300 and I dropped out. You can call them at 757-499-0032
