Steve,

Havoline Dexcool is the one I have researched. Ethylene Glycol based, phosphate free, and with a completely new carboxylate protection chemistry that doesn't break down into weak acids over time like conventional antifreeze. You must be sure to get ALL the old stuff out of your system, 10% or more of the it will destroy the new chemistry's protection. Good for five years or 50,000 miles. Info from another club site: http://www.theherd.com/articles/dex_cool.html

I am developing a new way to flush, fill and bleed the system I'll test out this weekend and let you know how it works. No more of this elevated front end or running the engine at 2000 rpm while hot coolant spouts everywhere *B.S.* I made an adapter for 25 bucks that should eliminate this nonsense forever, even if I now only have to do it every five years it is still too often!
