Jennifer, I would consider also replacing the master cylinder and the clutch slave at the same time, IF it is the same age as the clutch master, because if one fails from age.use the rest are not far behind. Better to do the job once and be good for another 15 years...

The job is messy. Remove the carpet and/or floor mats Put a layer of plastic-garbage bag on the bottom and many layers of pater towels or rags down.

You can pump the fluid out the slave cylinder to reduce the amount of BF spillage inside. After you hook the lines up it is a LOT of pumping to get the air out. When I did mine, I let it sit over night all the air had bled out on it own. I had pumped it for a few minutes, got tired and went inside. When I came out to finish the bleeding, all the air was out.
