SVX? Too big, wrong country of origin, and huge loss of ground clearance, not to mention all the headaches involved with wiring interfaces. And more power than a similar sized Porsche?? Get real! I don't think the numbers support that at all. The first 3 choices listed are the best, IMPO. And almost every part is available in kit form (ala VW factory parts!) to perform the conversion. If ya need more cylinders, then there's always the super-reliable Audi / VW 5 cylinder line. Just because the engine configuration is the same as the waterboxer does not make the Suba-screw engine a better candidate, again IMPO.
