I suppose Gaviota and Cuesta grade could whiten your knuckles. One thing to check if you go with braided is to see if you can use the stock u-clips where the hard line meets the braided. I got some braided for a 71 T2 years ago and had to use rubber grommets and wire ties to secure it. I would shop around too as I would suspect Schneider maybe spendier than others. A lot of these vendors probably all buy from the same sources at different discounts. OTOH there's nothing wrong with stock rubber brake hoses either. At least you will know they fit.
