Yes, very unusuals! I have seen a pair of sliding rear windows mounted on an ambulance of the Italian Red Cross (prepared on a Vanagon, obviously!). That was the first and only time I saw sliding rear windows, but I think there is no problem of availability. Vanagon was used like ambulance in narrow streets. The Syncro in still in use in the hills surrounding Genoa. It's still a great car! If someone is interested I can post him some pics of an ambulance of the Red Cross prepared on a Syncro.
