I understand, and I noticed that you had the alloy wheels. Still, these wheels were only an option (or standard on your car) but the car is still the same, and handling will not be affected by the 195/75 vs. the 205/70. The difference will only be marginal, and I doubt you will notice it. The circumference should be close to idential, so the speedometer shouldnt be off. No matter what year or equipment, the 185R14 is THE base tire for all and any Vanagon. All other were factory equipped extra's, often included in one of the packages. PerL 87 Syncro 112i |
