The EG33 SVX sump is in a similar position to the EJ fours, but can be shortened and widened. Mine had the sump already cut when I bought it; it was going to be fitted to a sprintboat. Whatever you use will need a custom exhaust anyway, though of course the Subarus use a header system rather than manifolds, so the entire thing would need doing in order to give clearance; I will be getting an extractor built. A plus of the SVX should be a 911like sound. At this stage I'm still getting parts and information together. I hope to get the actual conversion work under way later in the year, providing my (temporary) employment lasts long enough!
