IMHO the 4-cyl Subaru's have a much nicer boxer sound on the engine than the wbx, it reminds me of the 5-cyl Audi. Especially when you hear the old 1800 Leone. What can be done to get the high-pitched turbine whine of the wbx to sound more like the boxer it really is? I mean, the wbx doesn't really sound like a boxer! Any other got the same feeling, that the engines sound way different? And what could be causing this, is it the exhaust, the crankshaft, the water-cooling system of the Subbie? This has always disappointed me. PerL 87 Syncro 112i |
