After owning two VW's in the past and swearing I'd never own another I bought an '84 Westy today.

About the Westy...

1984 Vanagon Westy White 250,000 miles (10 times around the earth) 4 speed manual A/C Engine is toast. PO had oil changed and they forgot to replace the drain plug, you know the rest.

Other than the engine the van is is very good shape. Tiny bit of rust, no dents and only a few dings. My plan is to replace the 1.9L with a Subaru engine like Ron Bloomquist's. Wish me luck!
