There is a fourth option. I went to a local welder and told him what I wanted. He designed a new bumper made of heavy steel that bolts on in place of the old bumper, and incorporates a 2" receiver. He beefed up the bolts to the frame, and it is now bolted on with 1/2" 6 point hardened bolts. I had to paint it, but it looks good, is strong, and works great to pull my boat or whatever. Total cost? $150.
