<< I wonder if the reserve means it is the amount held in reserve to be used after a prudent person would have already stopped to refill or, it is the amount reserved because it cannot be drawn out of the tank? You must have heard how that last bit of gas is full of all sorts of unnatural stuff which can do evil things to an FI systems. Rich >> Being a not so prudent person at times, I did run out of gas in my plain old non-Syncro Vanagon. (I know..I know). It got to the point where it would hardly move, but it did not stop running, so I think Rich has a point. By the way, my manual states a 16.0 gallon capacity, and I've only ever been able to squeeze 14.25 in there. Unfortunately, I didn't fill it up on the day I ran it to empty. ___________ ||E[__] [__]|[_]\\ | =======| - || * * * =( o )--------( o )=p '85
