Subject: tire question and expansion tank question
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Hi List,

I have an 87 wolfsburg edition w/factory alloys. I just went to Costco and they have a michelin tire MXA? but it is sized 205/75/14. Is this too tall? the tires are supposed to be 205/70/14. Otherwise, does someone have a suggestion for an all-season tire? I have checked the archives and the only ones i found were the mention of Blizzaks and Agilis but i am not sure of the availability, handling, durability, etc. of these. Also, are there parts availablr for those tanks in the front fender wells or do i have to buy the whole tank. And who has the parts/tanks? Gerry did not want to fork over any info on the archive search! I may have to bribe him by asking an easy archive question like asking about stickers! Sorry to all list veterans who hate tire questions!

Thanks in advance,

Paul ibuyvws@aol.com
