Ron,

It's not tacky, its fun.
But, be aware/cautious or where you mount the 3rd
light. If you mount it on the rear window, in the
middle, it may interfear with the closing of the the
privacy curtains.  Speaking on the experience of
another listee with this issue, not mine.  I'm still
looking for the perfect light.  I like the long narrow
lights on the back of cadillacs and thought of placing
that in the rear poptop portion.
