I can get 63 liters (13.7 imp gallons) into my 87 syncro westy. Thats if I drive until I'm well into the red zone. The farthest I have driven on one tank is 430 kilometers (267 miles). The gas gauge also drops twice as fast for the top half of the gauge.

Does anybody get better than 14.5 l/100 km (16 mpg) city for a syncro westy?
