Malcom, This was actually mentioned a little over a year ago my John (or Jon?) I believe.

I think this would be problematic since there are electrical as well as propane hook ups that would be a problem for opening and closing the door.. even if there is enough room in there (these heaters are 6 inches deep I believe). Also, I don't think you would find many people willing to cut the exhaust hole in their door.

Personally, I really prefer a removable strategy as I don't always camp in the cold.... and a strategy that doesn't require permanent alterations to the van, if possible.
