Hi Volks:

I personally like this idea, because in order to accommodate a handicapped person, I need to have the passenger seat rotate and be accessible for transferring from a wheelchair.

Therefore, any installation that is fixed to the floor behind the passenger seat, would not work for us.

I also think this is the best idea I've heard of, regardless of my personal needs. If it can fit into the door, one doesn't give up interior space, and yet it provides a good central surface area for heat radiation.

OK I'll jump in here with an idea that might work. Since you're starting from scratch, how about recessing the cat heater in the sliding door and vent it out the door. One might have have to have a easily detachable propane hose but that would get the heater out of the way completely!!!! Malcolm
