Subject: Leaky Skylight, but...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

... I can't tell exactly where the problem lies. It rained very hard here in Southern California yesterday for an extended period of time, and my '88 Westy was parked outside, unprotected. After work, I discovered the skylight had leaked (maybe two cups water total). The water seems to be coming through the hole in the center of the turn handle that raises and lowers the skylight vent. The seal around the skylight looks good - however, I think this is the most likely culprit.

I realize the skylight itself might be cracked, but it doesn't appear to be. Any thought or suggestions before I email the Skylight Guy for a new skylight and seal? Btw, the existing skylight is factory-issue.

Chris '88 Westy, "Rocinante" Culver City, CA
