My mother had a SVX from 92 (year she bought it) till just a year ago she went german and purchased a C280. Great car the SVX, but can not even begin to imagine all the electrical nightmares you would have to go through to get the thing in a Vanagon.

If someone winds up doing it and need the engine manuals, my father has the FULL factory set. Its like 4 or 5 books about 10inches tall stacked. Cost like 700 bucks from the factory (and my dad did not pay near that) so sure he would part with them cheap if someone could use them. Let me know.....

Tim 87Wolfsburg - That when converted will stay VW, no matter the engine size.
