Subject: FS - "Fix-it" F.I. harness (Digifant)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

I still have this part left over from my Eurospec conversion. This is the factory retrofit harness for the 2.1 wasserboxer that goes between the air box and the wiring harness and is supposed to take care of problems caused by the cruise control.

As I understand it, the lack of throttle movement on a straight and flat road can cause the F.I. system to go into a "limp-home" mode - this harness overcomes that.

Evidently this was not the subject of a recall, consequently it cost the car owner to fix it. I got this one for a decent price from a friend, and it DID fix the problem I was having (some have disputed its worth).

I understand that the list price was around $100. I'll pass my savings on to someone who needs it.

Anybody interested? Write me off-list as I have gone "NOMAIL" for a few days so I can catch up with other things.

-Blaine
