You can get the adhesive stone guards from the dealer for about $7 each, the one's I got were made by 3M. I removed the old ones with a heat gun and a can of 3M adhesive remover.

1. The adhesive used for the tape has effectively "welded" the tape on there; it will not come off without a fight. How do you get the %&$*# stuff off?

2. I do not recall ever seeing anything like this stuff at the FLAPS. What is a sutible replacement? Would the "Rockguard" mentioned above do it?
