Subject: Removing the rear heater
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Folks,

I had Fred's Garage remove the rear heater (under the bench in my westy.) Whoa! That thing took up a lot of room! Suddenly I feel like I have a whole new storage space.

Unfortunately, when they removed the heater, they left the connector hoses spliced together under the seat. Since these are now just hanging there, and since they get fairly hot, I'd like to get them out of there.

Does anyone know if it's possible to close this loop inside the engine compartment? Ideally, I'd just put a nice tight loop of hose which wouldn't need to enter the passenger compartment.

Thanks for your advice, Coyote
