Well I got my first power window retrofit kit in yesterday and they look good
so I am offering these kits for sale.  This is a kit to install power windows
on a Vanagon that has never had power windows before.  You can check out what

The kits include both power window regulators, power window switches, wiring,
and everything else you need to make this work for $300.

Power window motors are made by Bosch and the kit comes with a lifetime
warranty.  The motors mount without drilling right behind the door speakers.
They will fit fine with the normal speakers but if you have an aftermarket
speaker that is deeper then you may run into a problem.  The setup for
raising and lowering the window does away with the poor stock design of
cables and pulleys and instead uses the more durable screw jack method that
the manual windows use.

PS Just the three power window switches are available separately as a kit
with wiring.  These are $80 by themselves.  Also the power window regulators
will replace the stock power window regulators (if you need a new one) and
these are $120 each.
