Hello all,

I'm considering putting a sunroof in my standard Vanagon GL.  I visited a
fair size sunroof shop and was told because of the curvature of the roof and
the placement of the ribs sticking up, I could only get a small glass
sunroof. The small size hardly makes it worth the effort.

My Vanagon has the dealer installed air conditioning unit which has the
ceiling tunnel up front, so the sunroof would have to go in back. A few
years ago I saw a canvas pull back roof on a beetle that had a huge opening.
Does anyone know if these types of sunroof are still available, if they work
or if there are any other options?
