Mike, Sounds like you described the Carver P4! I think by the time you're finished with this custom installation it will cost you more in time and materials than a Carver P4. The Carver comes complete with the installation kit. All you need to install it in a Westy is some 1/4" copper gas line and maybe a T fitting. Everything else in included with the installation kit.

I have a few Carver units in stock, but I won't likely be ordering more until late summer.
