Joel,

I think you were correct. I was trying to cure a lifter problem by using a trick I heard on the list last month. I used a quart of Rislone with an oil change, idled for 2 hours, and did another oil & filter change. Now the engine won't start (in addition to the coil leak). Sounds like I've cooked the coil. I'll take a final test to see if I get a spark from a spare spark plug to make sure. I've had a lot of cars including a 67 split, 3 beetles and a rabbit and never saw one leak like that. Thanks for the help.
