VW lug nuts do not seat properly in a MB wheel. VW has a 14mm ball taper and the MB has a 12mm ball taper. Put some marking dye on the nut and see how much surface area is actually touching the ball taper of the nut. Phill Lander http://www.ozemail.com.au/~pjlander/volkswagen_syncro.htm
