No, I don't think Mike's tank is bigger. It is very similar in size and mounting to the Westy tank. It may be the same except for the gauge. It should be at my place this weekend when we change his 1.6D head gasket and I will look it over more closely. A couple years ago when I was buying new tanks Manchester sent me some engineering drawings to look at to see which tank I wanted for my Westys. They did not know which of their own product was used on thousands on VWs over a 10 year period. One of the drawings was for a same size tank with a gauge fitted and the fittings in different positions. I thought it might be for the Eurovan but in any case I wanted an exact replacement so I didn't think much about it. Maybe it was the ASI or Adventurewagen tank. I don't know what I did with those drawings but the tank had the same dimensions as they sent drawings of all of the tanks that they made with the same tank size so I could match up the mounts and fitting with the Westy tank. They did at one time make small tanks with the gauge and should be able to add them to the Westy tank if the wanted to. They are not very consumer oriented and the customer service people are friendly, but they steered me wrong more than once.
