We are new owners of an '85 Westy and have been shopping around for the same items. Our choices have been:

Propane heater: Coleman Black Cat - catalytic heater. Not a built-in, but heats our bus quite effectively and it is not expensive.

Batteries: nothing yet.

Awning: We looked at several awnings at EveryBus a few weeks ago and settled on the Catalina 2500 by A&E Dometic -- see http://www.dometic.com for some info. I hope to order mine later today. I particularly liked the bracing design and ease of setup.

Hope this helps.
