I've had a Catalina 2500 on my '81 Westy for several years now. Works great, and receives admiring inquiries in the campgrounds. <br>

I didn't like the way the adapter brackets clamped onto the rain gutters and sides of the bus, so I cut some small pieces from a PVC pipe, softened them with a torch and molded them to the surfaces of the adapter bracket that would ride against the car in and below the rain gutter and against the side. Be careful -- when that plastic is hot and flexible enough to mold, it's too hot to hold bare-handed. Five years later, no scratching, no rust. Also, watch the nuts on the back side of the bracket; they can stick out quite a way. I got a small tear in the rubber pop-top gasket  when it fouled the nut (can't remember how I overcame that problem, but I did...).<br>

Fun extra benefit: put a red plastic beer cup on the front end and cardboard fins on the back, and it looks like you have a Sidewinder missile mounted.<br>
