I just installed the LUK heavy duty and find that it is very smooth. My last clutch was the Sachs, which was okay but was not as smooth engaging. It was not worn down to the rivets, and there was no scoring on the flywheel, so I think the LUK is worth it. Amortize the $30 over 80,000 to 100,000 miles and it is easy to go with quality.

Have the flywheel resurfaced if there is any scoring, and replace the main seal. The LUK kit comes with a new pilot bearing too, so you will need a puller to get the old one out.

Have fun, and you do know you can drop the tranny to do a clutch in a WBX, right? Might be time to check, replace or repack (if you believe in that) your CV joints now too.
