Subject: unknown switch on dash pod
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Hi list, Got to see my van run and drive today. I will doing all the legal paperwork for it first thing on Mon. morn. The rubber power steering lines that Ken @ WWW.VanAgain.com got for me did not show any signs of leaking and after turning the steering wheel for about 5-8 minutes, all squealing noises were gone. It runs smoothly w/ the fresh rebuild so far. I discovered a switch w/ a light on it on the right side of the dash pod. The owners manual says it is an extra switch spot. Mine makes a click noise in the dash pod area and the little light comes on. There are no foglights on this van nor does it look like there ever was. It clicks when the switch is at the midway point. Any one have any ideas as to what the heck it is. It is an 87 wolfsburg edition if that helps!

Thanks in advance, Paul Bucco ibuyvws@aol.com 87 wolfsburg edition vanagon 65 21 window deluxe bus 71 squareback automatic
