Thanks Frank, after dealing with truly undersized cooling systems on my MGBs I appreciate the truly massive system on the Vanagon. Glad to hear someone has looked into this from an engineering perspective. I have long suspected air pockets, t-stat problems, or corroded radiators have led to Vanagon overheating problems, not the design of the system.
