Subject: How to Tow an Old VW?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hi Volks--

I'll be towing a '74 VW Thing cross country later this summer, to give the Syncro a playmate. (I won't be towing with the Syncro.)

Can I tow it for 2000 miles with all 4 wheels on the ground?

If I use a tow dolly, which wheels should I lift, front or back?

By the way, the Syncro did great moving me from Fairbanks last winter, and as a daily driver for months now. Must like the warmth.

Cheers-- Chris Wyatt Albuquerque '87 Syncro GL 116k '74 Thing to be reanimated soon
